Stamp DesignBlock Stencil onto each tag to create background (use pastel pink chalk ink combined with orchid pastel on pink and cream tags & Blue Lagoon ink on pool tags) Cut out 12 strips from Kraft notecard approximately 1" tall & adhere to bottom of all but one cream tag. Stamp various coupon images onto Cream, Pink, and Pool scraps using same ink combination as background. Adhere to front of 12 tags alternating colors to contrast with background. Personalize each coupon with monthly activities to do together or gifts to give. Here are some ideas (starting with May here since that is the month of Mother's Day). May: Mother-daughter manicure/pedicure June: Chick flic of your choice with lots of popcorn! July: Share an ice cream sundae Aug: Afternoon of clothes shopping & lots of laughs Sep: One box of personalized stationary/notecards Oct: A day at the State Fair Nov: A home-cooked meal - not made by you Mom! Dec: A Christmas Mix CD of your favorites Jan: Sunday afternoon together of guilty pleasure made-for-TV movie watching Feb: Night of Italian music & ravioli-making Mar: Good for a hug (3 tickets) Apr: Mother/Daughter picnic at the botanical gardens Using Stazon Cotton White ink, stamp month names onto bottom of 12 tags. Use border stamps & images of your choice on either side of month name to embellish. Once dry, adhere acetate tags to coupon tags using glue dots. For coupon book cover, stamp DesignBlock Stencil background onto pool scrap & Mother's Day sentiment onto pink scrap. Layer & adhere to last cream tag, and adhere all to acetate tag with glue dots. Add art flowers, accent pearls, & sparkle gems across front of acetate tag. Punch hole through colored notecards in each tag & assemble on book ring. Tie blue & pink ribbon around ring & add sparkle gems to each tag as desired.
