- Trim 1/4" off the top of a Hero Arts card so the completed card will fit in an envelope. (The final size will be 4 1/4" x 5 1/4".) Punch half of a 1" circle at the top center of the card. With a pencil, draw a rectangle on the front of the card at 3/4" from the edges. Score along the top pencil line and cut along the side and bottom pencil lines. This will create a "flap" on the front of the card.
- Create a crease halfway on the flap.
- Along the sides and bottom edges of the inside of the card, apply dry adhesive. (Be sure to only apply adhesive to the very edges.) Close.
- Cut a cardstock "tag" to 3" x 5 1/4". Score a line 1/2" from the bottom. Cut the bottom corners a tiny bit as shown, right up to the scored line. Fold the bottom upwards at the scored line. Punch a 3/4" white circle and adhere to the top of the tag. Punch a hole and add ribbon.
- Slide the tag into the opening at the top of the card, inserting until the folded end of the tag hits the bottom of the cut made on the front of the card. Apply dry adhesive to the folded edge of the tag and adhere the bottom of the card flap to it. The card will lay closed with the tag inside.
- Apply dry adhesive to the bottom half of the card's flap.
- Create a matted stamped piece at 3" x 3 3/4". Lay the piece onto the card, centering and lining up the bottom of the stamped piece with the bottom of the flap. Press to secure.
- Pull the tag gently out to reveal the space inside the card. Stamp a greeting inside. And voila! You have created a fun card for a loved one.
