Making Patterned Papers
I often struggle to find the perfect patterned paper to go with my photos. Many papers are too loud, vivid or wild, and end up distracting the eye. When this is the case, I grab Versamark inks and a stamp or two, to make my own custom patterns. When you stamp with Versamark, you get a subtle water-mark image. How to do it: Simply repeat the stamp image until you have created the patterned you want. My favorite stamp for a background print is the large Manuscript Background stamp. Embellishing Edges Shadow Ink® serve as a wonderful tool when creating scrapbook pages. I love to rub the edge of my photo mats directly onto the ink pad to create a finished look. You can also create a thicker edge, offering a shadowed, three dimensional look. |

| Have some old stickers that have become a bit bland and out-dated? Instead of throwing them away, try this: Sand the stickers to remove as much color as possible. Then, rub with some Hero Arts Shadow Ink®. Your stickers will look like new and you can create a fun new page. |
