Recommended Techniques

Resisting with VersaMark

Use the resist technique with VersaMark to bring unique colors to your papers and stamp projects.

What to do...

1. Ink the Large Harlequin background stamp with VersaMark and stamp onto glossy card front. Allow to dry. (use clear embossing powder to speed the process if desired.) Rub Memories Baby Blue dye ink over the image using a make-up sponge applicator. Keep adding additional colors (turquoise, sand, and brown) until you achieve the tone you are looking for. Trim to size desired.

2. Using the same technique, stamp additional images (Scribble Background and Large Harlequin) onto glossy paper.

3. Turn over 2nd Harlequin image and draw three free-hand stars in various sizes. Cut around outline to create star image.

4. Add patterned paper to cardstock background and machine stitch to page.

5. Add stamped rectangles to page using machine stitching.

6. Add stamped and cut-out stars using machine stitching. Add stitched 'trails' to each star for added interest.

7. Add clear quote sticker for additional title/journaling.

8. Add stamped letters for title and name along the 'trails' of the stars.

9. Mount photo onto black cardstock and add to page to complete.
