With monograms being all the rave these days, Hero Artists Jennifer McGuire, Barbara Hache, Lisa Spangler and myself, Shari Carroll, got together to give you a sampling of some of our favorite tips and techniques to adorn Hero's Letters for Stamping™.
With only 26 letters in the alphabet we've only begun to touch the surface of potential ideas for you to get started.
Jennifer used the negative or frame portion of the letter "J" to create a beautiful elegant monogram by using pattern papers and stamped addition.
Barbara created an adorable beach scene on her "N" by stamping with black ink and colored pencils. This letter can be used as part of a word or phrase on a card or scrapbook page.
Lisa's "X marks the spot" gives an example of using the letter together with other stamps to create a greeting in itself. The message is clear without the use of other letters or words.
I chose to bling out my "Q" with jewels and a paper crown, "Q" becomes queen instantly, without even mentioning it. Add her with a "K" for anniversaries or wedding cards.
Whether you're a novice or experienced stamper, these letters are a great fundamental element in stamping and scrapbooking. Take a peek at each letter individually to discover the possibilities awaiting you.
