FOR DEV by Vicki Boutin
On this layout, the stamped sentiments and sayings are incorporated creatively within Vicki’s large block of journaling. Vicki stamped the sayings on various strips of different colored cardstock, which helps them stand out and really adds "punch" to what she had to say. Using her own handwriting mixed in amongst the stamping adds a personal touch the layout needs for this special note to her daughter.
YOU’RE ONE OF A KIND by Sheri Reguly
This beautiful layout by Sheri incorporates something you wouldn’t expect to see on a summery page: a Valentine’s Day stamp! Here Sheri used the stamp to create a dynamic ‘frame’ for her journaling. She managed to make a seasonal stamp work all year round by masking (taping paper over the Valentine’s theme of the stamp) part of the stamp and only inking the border – which serves as a perfectly neat and tidy outline for her journaling. She stacked two borders on top of one another to allow a large surface for all her words. |
