Have you ever stamped an image that gave you an awe moment? This techniques is simple and very rewarding when the stamp leaves the paper.
This month I've chosen to cover watercolor effects using markers and inks. Let's take a peek at the process.
Instructions:
This month I've come up with two different type of examples.
The first card uses Tim Holtz Distress ink. I've inked the stamp with three colors (Walnut Stain, Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood). Once covered with ink, I've spritzed the stamp with water and stamped on regular white card stock. That's it!
The other two card samples use markers. Gather up your markers and take a look at them. I want you to use water base type markers. Anything that is marked permanent, solvent, or alcohol will not work with this technique. I use a combination of Tsukineko and Marvy markers, but any other types will work just as well.
Color directly onto the stamp with your markers, spritz with water and stamp onto card stock.
So simple and yet very effective! You're going to love this one.
