Selecting Paper

Many papers can be used for stamping. Some papers come packaged, and information on the type of application can be found on the packaging. Single sheets of paper can be purchased from a variety of sources, check with the store employees to be sure it is suitable for your stamping project.

Glossy is non-absorbent paper that traditionally has a clean, cut edge and a reflective, non-porous surface, which will not allow the ink to be absorbed into the paper. Non-Glossy cardstock stamping typically has clean, cut edges, does not reflect the light and is porous, allowing the ink to be absorbed into the surface of the paper.

We have created an easy system of colors, called Hero Hues, where the paper, ink and accessories all match and are all especially formulated for stamping. So just choose your favorite spectrum of color and stamp stamping!
