Instructions:
Directions for Altering Watering Can:
1) Using rough sandpaper, sand off all pre-existing designs/paint on outside of small watering can. Wash tin thoroughly to remove any residue & allow to dry
2) Spray paint entire outside of watering can with two coats of white acrylic primer
3) Stamp a variety of real flowers along the outside of the tin with acrylic paint (using a cosmetic sponge applicator for even coverage of stamp in a variety of spring colors).
4) Helpful Hint: Wash stamps immediately after use for easier cleanup
5) Lightly sand a piece of white shrink plastic.
6) Stamp small watercolor tulip onto shrink plastic using Tsukineko Brilliance ink in gamma green & pearlescent orchid.
7) Punch 1/8” hole at top, cut out, & shrink using heat gun
8) Add jump ring through hole to create a charm
9) Tie green gingham ribbon around top of watering can & attach charm where knots in front.

Directions for Creating Flower Seed holders:
1) Using Sizzix Flower die (Daisy#2), cut out 5 large daisy shapes from white cardstock
2) Allow at least ½” of white space border around each flower as you will be discarding the punched out shape & using what is left.
3) Trace around flower shape approx. ½” border & cut out daisy form with scissors (this creates your see-through “window” for the base of your seed pack holder).
4) Using acrylic paints & a variety of Ribbons & Stitches stamps, stamp diagonal designs across flowers. Add painted stripes as desired, and allow to dry.
5) Stamp various Spring sentiments onto see through clear vellum paper with Tsukineko Brilliance! Gamma Green ink & heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
6) Adhere stamped flower “window” to vellum & cut out allowing a ¼” border of vellum around the flower shape.
7) Now place shape against coordinating colored cardstock & trace slightly larger flower shape. Cut out.
8) Helpful hint: To help sentiments stand out, cut out plain vellum shapes the size of your sentiment with decorative scissors & adhere to back of vellum panel.
9) Adhere vellum/stamped panel to colored cardstock panel on left & right sides using green brad & Prima flowers
10) Fold up seed packets so that only flowers show & sandwich them into the pocket you’ve created
11) Coat five 3/16” wooden dowels with light foliage green acrylic paint & allow to dry. Cut various lengths as desired & adhere to inside of flower pocket with strong adhesive tape
12) To make leaves – cut out leaf shapes out of green cardstock
13) Using sewing machine, sew a zig-zag stitch down center of shape to create a vein
14) Rub green acrylic paint across leaves & 5 mini clothespins using cosmetic sponge/brush, allow to dry
15) Clip leaves onto flower stems using mini painted clothespins wherever desired

To assemble:
1) Stuff green floral arranging foam or white Styrofoam into bottom of watering can
2) Arrange flowers as desired inside can
3) Cover top of watering can with decorative covering and you are done!
