Fill Your Life
Artist: Rachel Greig Chittaway Bay, Australia Best of Show - Scrapbook/Card Duo Skill Level: Advanced Instructions: Scrapbook page Instructions: 1: Cut a piece of Lilac cardstock to 12” x 4”. Create stems using the Ribbons & Stitches stamps with Olive Pastel ink. Stamp various flowers onto the top of the stems using Warm Violet and Wisteria ink. Overlap the flowers and allow some to fall off the top of the cardstock. Attach to the bottom of a 12x12” sheet of Forget-Me-Not cardstock. 2: Cut a ¼” x 12” strip of Hot Pink cardstock and stamp with the Zig Zag stitch stamp using Wisteria ink. Attach to the top of the Lilac cardstock. 3: Stamp the Fancy Flowers onto Pink cardstock using Warm Violet and Wisteria ink. Cut around the edges to leave a small border. Attach over the top of four flowers along the border using 3D adhesive to give a layered effect. 4: Cut a piece of Olive cardstock to 8” x 5 ½”. Stamp the edges with the Zig Zag Sitches stamp using Olive Pastel ink. Cut a piece of Hot Pink cardstock to 8 ½” x 6”. Stamp the edges using the Zig Zag Stitches stamp using Wisteria ink. Attach to the top of the layout in a criss cross fashion. Attach the photograph to the top, making sure it is straight. 5: Stamp the Hugs & Kisses stamp onto Lilac cardstock with Wisteria ink. Trim, edge with Wisteria ink, and attach just under the Hot Pink cardstock of the photo mat on the top right side. 6: Stamp the ‘Life with Sunshine’ stamp onto Lilac cardstock using Wisteria ink. Trim and edge with Wisteria ink. Stamp the ‘Enjoy Moments’ stamp onto Lilac cardstock using Warm Violet ink. Trim and edge with Warm Violet ink. Attach to the left side of the photo, overlapping each saying slightly. 7: Stamp the Fancy Flowers onto Pink cardstock using Wisteria & Warm Violet ink. Trim to leave a small border. Attach to the top and bottom of the word stamps using 3D adhesive to give a layered effect. 8: Using the Playful Alphabet, stamp the name of the baby onto the Hot Pink cardstock underneath the photograph.
9. Stamp the ‘Cheris Yesterday’ stamp onto Lilac cardstock using Wisteria ink. Trim, and edge with Wisteria ink. Attach to the bottom of the layout over the stems with 3D adhesive.
Card Instructions: 2: Cut a piece of Lilac cardstock to 6” x 2 ½”. Create stems using the Ribbons & Stitches stamps with Olive Pastel ink. Stamp various flowers onto the top of the stems using Warm Violet and Wisteria ink. Overlap the flowers and allow some to fall off the top of the cardstock. Attach to the bottom of the card. 3: Cut a ¼” x 6” strip of Hot Pink cardstock and stamp with the Zig Zag stitch stamp using Wisteria ink. Attach to the top of the Lilac cardstock. 4: Stamp the Fancy Flowers onto Pink cardstock using Warm Violet and Wisteria ink. Cut around the edges to leave a small border. Attach over the top of two flowers using 3D adhesive to give a layered effect. 5: Stamp the Hugs & Kisses stamp onto Lilac cardstock with Wisteria ink. Trim, edge with Wisteria ink, and attach to the top right hand side of the card to finish!
