frighteningly adorable little horrors
Artist: Philippa Barr Melba, Australia Honorable Mention - Scrapbook/Card Duo Skill Level: Intermediate Instructions: CARD 1. Cut a 9” x 6.5” piece of white cardstock and score and fold in half. 2. Cut a 4.5” x 4.5” piece of orange cardstock and tear the right hand side. Place on the card and mark three areas to tear out as small squares. 3. Mark with pencil through the squares and then stamp the three images using VersaMark ink and emboss with black embossing powder. 4. Attach the “Happy Halloween” ribbon and attach the orange cardstock to the front of the card. Edge with black ink and stamp the stitches. Attach the black stitched ribbon. 5. Stamp the three images onto clear buttons using staz-on ink and attach to the card with the dmc thread.
SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT 1. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 11.5”x11.5” and then a piece of orange cardstock to 6” x 11.5”, tearing the righthand side. 2. Position over the white cardstock and mark three areas to tear out as small squares. Mark with pencil through the squares and then stamp the three images using VersaMark ink and emboss with black embossing powder. 3. Attach the orange cardstock over the white cardstock, edge with black ink and stamp the stitches. Stamp the Laughter stamp with VersaMark and then black emboss. 4. Stamp the buttons with Halloween images using staz-on ink and attach to the layout as shown with dmc thread. 5. Mount photo to orange cardstock and then black cardstock, attach the Happy Halloween ribbons and mount to layout. Stamp Friends onto acetate using VersaMark and then white emboss. 6. Attach to layout using two more buttons. Finally stamp some names and journaling using small alpha set.
