Make A Wish
Artist: Rachel Greig Chittaway Bay, Australia 1st Place - Scrapbook/Card Duo Skill Level: Intermediate Instructions: Scrapbook Instructions: 1: Cut a piece of Desert Gold cardstock to 10cm x 30cm and place through the paper crimper. Attach to the bottom of the Pomegranate cardstock. Lightly run the Caramel ink over the raised ridges of the corrugated cardstock. 2: Mount the photograph onto Ivy cardstock and tear the edges to leave a 1’ border. Using a pencil, roll in the edges to create a dimensional border. 3: Stamp the Christmas Dots onto cream cardstock using various inks. Punch out the circles with a circle punch, and mount onto Ivy cardstock and punch out again using a slightly larger circle punch. Attach to the join of the Pomegranate and Desert Gold cardstock to create a border. Use Pop Up Glue Dots to raise them from the layout. 4: Stamp the Christmas Definition with Caramel ink onto Cream cardstock. Trim and mount onto Ivy Card. Attach to the bottom left side of the layout. 5: Edge the envelope with Caramel ink. Stamp the postage cancellations in a random style over the envelope. Stamp the words ‘Letters to Santa’ using the Playful lower and uppercase, using Olive ink. On a piece of cream cardstock, stamp the Manuscript Background and fold over to form a letter. (you could also use a real letter as an alternative) Place inside the envelope. 6: Stamp four of the shaded square backgrounds using Butterscotch ink onto cream cardstock. Stamp the word ‘make’ using the Olive ink inside the squares. Trim and mount onto Ivy Cardstock. Stamp the letter ‘a’ with Olive ink onto cream cardstock and mount onto Ivy card. Attach to the top left of the layout 7: Stamp the Christmas Definition ‘Wish’ tag using Caramel ink onto cream cardstock. Trim around the edge to leave a small border. Mount onto Ivy cardstock and trim again. Punch a hole at the top and thread green ribbon to finish. Attach to the layout to complete the title!

Lightly run the Caramel ink over the raised ridges of the corrugated cardstock. 3: Stamp the Christmas Dots onto cream cardstock using various inks. Punch out the circles with a circle punch, and mount onto Pomegranate cardstock and punch out again using a slightly larger circle punch. Attach to the join of the Ivy and Desert Gold cardstock to create a border. Use Pop Up Glue Dots to raise them from the layout. 4: Stamp the Christmas Definition ‘Joy’ tag using Olive ink onto cream cardstock. Trim around the edge to leave a small border. Mount onto Promegranate cardstock and again onto Desert Gold cardstock. Punch a hole at the top and thread red ribbon to finish. Attach to the card to complete!
