Tip: After cutting out images to embellish your project like the butterfly, go over the edges with a black marker to give a clean finish to the cut edge.

Hero Materials:
CH214 Earth Mixed Accents
K5344 La Lettre
CL383 Antique Engravings

PS610 Snow Layering Paper

Kraft cardstock, black embossing powder, black ink, gingham ribbon, dimensional foam adhesive, Mini Glue dot, embossing buddy, heat tool, Stamp-a-ma-jig (stamp positioner)

Instructions:
  1. Cut and score the Snow layering paper to make a top fold 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base. Stamp sentiment along the bottom. Set aside.
  2. On a scrap piece of kraft cardstock, stamp butterfly using Versamark ink. Emboss with black embossing powder and heat set. Trim closely.
  3. Cut kraft cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5. Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp La Letter along the right side. Use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the stamp as you will need to stamp it twice.
  4. Once the ink is dry, use the embossing buddy to prepare the cardstock for embossing.
  5. Stamp Garden Bouquet using Versamark ink and emboss with black embossing powder. Heat set.
  6. Tear approximately 1/2 inch off the bottom of the kraft panel.
  7. Adhere ribbon to the stamped panel by taping the ends to the back side. Tie a small length of ribbon in a knot and add to ribbon with mini glue dot. Adhere panel to card base about 1/4 inch down from top.
  8. Add gem to butterfly. Adhere butterfly to card with dimensional foam adhesive to finish the card.
