Tip: To give your torn paper heart a deckle-edge look, tear the paper towards you. Also, take your time and tear in small sections.

Forever Valentine
By Hero Arts Staff

Combine papercrafting with stamping for a sophisticated Valentine.

Hero Materials:
LL762 Printer's Type Lowercase Alphabets

Additional Materials:
Red and Gold Paper
Gold Cording
Glue Dots

Instructions:
1.) Trace a 3" heart on red paper. Gently tear around the edges.

2.) Using black ink, stamp the word "forever," using lowercase letters.

3.) Cut a strip of gold paper approximately 1 1/4" x 5". Stamp a tiny spiral background using the Brilliance gold ink.

4.) Adhere the gold rectangle to the right hand side of a white or flax card. Glue the paper heart to the center of the card and overlapping the gold strip.

5.) Punch out four hearts from the gold paper. Glue the hearts together, with the cording in between. Knot the cording at the top and adhere to the heart.

Variation:
Hero Arts letter sets allow you to personalize all your cards. On this Valentine you might want to stamp someone's name rather than the word "forever."
